This is something I drew quite some time ago, but this was going to be a massively detailed concept idea of my Quilava Anthro named Saphira. However, the background started to kill my patience so I gave up and left the detailed tree there because that happened to be my favourite background detail.
This was mostly drawn on photoshop because I wanted to try colouring on it as I will be for my future job, it was extremely hard compared to SAI but I managed it. I did switch between SAI and PS near the end for the Tree/Staff but that was about it. It was fun to do, but extremely difficult. What do you guys think? Do you like it?
Your colours (of course) are all correct, and the shading is lovely, especially on the staff, orb, necklace and hair. Oh and the tree too. Very pretty. The eye is in good portraiture and placed as well, and the facial proportions are all correct. I also really like the feet, the structure is spot on there also.
A few things do bother me though. Apart from the obvious, blank empty space. Next time maybe consider colouring the claws a different tone to the fur, it doesn't quite sit right. Also I don't know if this is just me, but the hips look too wide, and Saphira seems to have an extremely short torso. The armpit seems to go straight into the hip curve, if you understand.
But still well done Row.
