This is something I drew quite some time ago, but this was going to be a massively detailed concept idea of my Quilava Anthro named Saphira. However, the background started to kill my patience so I gave up and left the detailed tree there because that happened to be my favourite background detail.
This was mostly drawn on photoshop because I wanted to try colouring on it as I will be for my future job, it was extremely hard compared to SAI but I managed it. I did switch between SAI and PS near the end for the Tree/Staff but that was about it. It was fun to do, but extremely difficult. What do you guys think? Do you like it?
This is really good, its come along really well since I first saw the sketch months and months ago :] Well done. Your colours (of course) are all correct, and the shading is lovely, especially on the staff, orb, necklace and hair. Oh and the tree too. Very pretty. The eye is in good portraiture and placed as well, and the facial proportions are all correct. I also really like the feet, the structure is spot on there also.
A few things do bother me though. Apart from the obvious, blank empty space. Next time maybe consider colouring the claws a different tone to the fur, it doesn't quite sit right. Also I don't know if this is just me, but the hips look too wide, and Saphira seems to have an extremely short torso. The armpit seems to go straight into the hip curve, if you understand. But still well done Row.
Everytime I visit your page , you are improving your work Soo much ;A; How you do the hair ? I was always thinking .. You can tell me or make a tutorial ? I have Adobe Photoshop Elements Oh and , I love this drawing , it's so beautiful ...
Thankyouu!! It's because I am so deseperate to become professional :'D so I just draw and draw everydayyy!! (>'.')>
About the hair, I could do a tutorial like a speedpaint of it if you like? Or an Audio tutorial, because usually I can't explain in words or those step by step tutorials ;_; I have to visually show. But I could do that for you and for others aswell!!
And thanks ever so much, i'm glad you like my work and this piece. : )
Hehe , nothing sweetie !! Um , a speedpaint will be perfect ! Yes , i know that step-by-step tutorials are difficult so , the best thing you can do is to do a speedpaint to or Youtube And thank you very much for answer in this ! I can't wait to learn more things from you !!!
